Dr. Sophia Shaddy is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and Hematopathology.

She graduated magna cum laude in Biology and Chemistry minor from Youngstown State University in Ohio and completed her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH. Dr. Shaddy completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as a Hematopathology fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH, where she served as Clinical Pathology Chief Resident.  She also completed a Cytopathology fellowship from the University of Washington Medical Center.

Dr. Shaddy is a frequent speaker at presentations and conferences, including the American Association of Cancer Research and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and has co-authored numerous white papers and articles in publications such as World Neurosurgery, Journal of American Society of Cytopathology, and American Journal of Surgical Pathology.
