Albin Recognized as a 2022 WPSC Speak-Up! Award Finalist

Congratulations to Jolene Albin who was named a 2022 Speak-Up! Award finalist by the Washington Patient Safety Coalition (WPSC). Jolene was recognized for demonstrating a commitment to keeping patients and staff safe by speaking up and voicing her concerns to promote health care safety in Washington state.

The WPSC Speak-Up! Award is a statewide recognition program to celebrate individuals and teams at Washington healthcare organizations who voice their concerns to keep patients and staff safe. WPSC staff and a committee of patient safety and quality improvement leaders and patient advocates evaluate nominees based on the nature of the event, the impact of the prevented adverse event, magnitude of the decision to speak-up, and the level of difficulty of and effect of speaking up in the organization.
