Formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue block or cell block, or 1 unstained charged slide for each test requested plus 3-4 additional unstained slides cut at 4 microns. Adequate space on each slide for control tissue is required.

Classification of B-cell lyimphoma: Marker for germinal center cells and their derivative lymphomas (follicular lymphoma, Burkitt lymphoma). Categorization of actue leukemias: Expressed in 75% of precursor B-cell ALL. Also expressed in subset of non hematopoietic tumors including renal cell carcinoma, endometrial stromal tumors, and solid-pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas, to name a few. Expressed in non-neoplastic myoepithelial cells, endometrial stromal cells, and bile canaliculi.
