Trang Lollie, MD
|Dr. Trang Lollie is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty experience in Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathology with special interest in bone and soft tissue pathology.
She attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Lollie completed both residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and fellowship training in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology from University of California in Los Angeles with Dr. Hanlin Wang, where she served as Chief Resident during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Lollie received numerous honors throughout her medical training, including the Louisiana Pathology Society Award and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Lollie worked as a senior biologist at Eli Lilly in San Diego, as well as a research technician and lab manager following her undergraduate education at University of California Irvine where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Developmental and Cell Biology and minor in Management.
Dr. Lollie is dedicated to quality and education, having initiated various quality improvement projects such as optimizing workflows, and authoring subspecialty service guides and manuals. She also taught pathology laboratory courses in various subspecialties and weekly case reviews. Dr. Lollie spearheaded UCLA conference and career development curriculum and has presented at various presentations and conferences, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the College of American Pathologists and UCLA. She has co-authored articles in publications such as the Journal of Clinical Pathology, Modern Pathology, Laboratory Medicine and Acta Cytologica.
