Saron Ann E. Smith, MD

Dr. Saron Ann Smith is a skilled pathologist with extensive hospital and laboratory experience who most recently served as Director of the Center for Gynecologic Pathology at Cascade Pathology and Laboratory Director of Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Smith is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty expertise in Gynecologic Pathology and many years of experience as Medical Director of multiple areas in Clinical Pathology.

She attended medical school at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and completed both her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and fellowship training in Gynecologic Pathology at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institution in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Smith has co-authored numerous articles in publications such as The American Journal of Surgical Pathology, International Journal of Gynecological Pathology, Modern Pathology, Cancer, Journal of Pathology and Archives of Internal Medicine.
