Nisreen Fidda, MD

Dr. Fidda obtained her Medical Degree at Damascus University in Syria. She is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology. She holds additional sub-specialty expertise in Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA).

Dr. Fidda is fellowship trained in Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology from the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. She completed residencies in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and in Surgical Pathology at the Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Fidda is experienced in performing and interpreting fine needle aspiration of superficial masses. She serves as a member on the cancer committee and tumor registry for Providence St. Peter Hospital. She is interested in General and Neoplastic Surgical Pathology and periodically participates in tumor board conferences at Providence St. Peter Hospital and Capital Medical Center. She is also a member of the Quality Improvement Council at Capital Medical Center and an active member of the Quality Assurance Committee at Cellnetix.
