Dr. Chen attended Mayo Medical School and is Board certified in Anatomic pathology and Hematopathology. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, he completed a residency and Hematopathology fellowship which included two years in Anatomic pathology, one year in Hematopathology as well as six months each in Cardiovascular, Pulmonary and Renal pathology. He then went on to complete a Gastrointestinal fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

Before joining CellNetix, Dr. Chen was an Assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
