Drs. Kathi Adamson and Christina Isacson Recognized as 2022 Top Doctors

Congratulations to our pathologists Dr. Kathi Adamson and Dr. Christina Isacson who were recognized as Top Doctors for 2022. Dr. Adamson was recognized in pathology by Seattle Met magazine, her second time being honored, and Dr. Isacson was named in the areas of gynecologic and breast pathology by Seattle magazine, her eighth time being named by the publication.

Dr. Adamson is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and subspecializes in breast and gynecologic pathology.

Dr. Isacson is board certified in anatomic pathology and subspecializes in gynecologic pathology with an interest in teaching and women’s health issues. She is also co-author of the widely used “An Illustrated Manual for the Dissection of Surgical Pathology Specimens.”

Voters nominated their most esteemed peers based on years of experience, competency, rapport with patients, patient satisfaction and compliance with care recommendations, and ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care. Seattle Met partnered with the Professional Research Services survey company to poll health care practitioners licensed by the Washington State Department of Health in King, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Pierce counties. The top voted recipients were vetted with the DOH to ensure good standing before inclusion on the list. Visit the Seattle Met website for the complete list.

Inclusion in the Top Doctor list is based on peer nominations, research, screening, and selection processes conducted in collaboration with Seattle magazine by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a physician-led health care research and information company. Every year, tens of thousands of practicing physicians across the U.S. are surveyed in the nomination process. Evaluation and selection criteria includes professional qualifications, education, hospital and faculty appointments, research leadership, professional reputation, and disciplinary history. Visit the Seattle magazine website for a complete list.
