Dr. Ryan Merickel Named Clinical Lab Medical Director of St. Joseph Medical Center

CellNetix Pathologist Dr. Ryan Merickel has been named St. Joseph Medical Center Clinical Laboratory Medical Director. In this role, Dr. Merickel will be responsible for the laboratory scope, standards, and quality of service. St. Joseph Medical Center is a 374-bed hospital in Tacoma, WA.

Dr. Merickel has served St. Joseph Medical Center as a pathologist since 2015 and is a member of the CellNetix Quality Assurance Committee. He attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Merickel completed a residency in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY, and a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
