Alaska Regional Hospital and CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories Announce Partnership to Provide Pathology Services

Alaska Regional Hospital (ARH), a 250-bed hospital facility in Anchorage, AK, and CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories (CellNetix), a leading pathology company providing comprehensive subspecialty anatomic pathology services in the Pacific Northwest, announce a long-term partnership to provide pathology services, effective January 1, 2021.

CellNetix had responded to a request for proposal issued by ARH’s parent company, HCA Healthcare, and was awarded the contract. With this partnership, ARH and CellNetix hope to speed report turnaround, improve patient outcomes, and reduce administrative costs and time related to management of pathology workflow. ARH and its patients will benefit from CellNetix’s regional technical laboratory and local full-time pathologists and lab technicians in Alaska, with back up support from its other divisions and central lab in Washington.

With the addition of ARH, CellNetix expands into the Anchorage area. CellNetix traces its Alaska roots back nearly a decade, which began with its partnership with Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, where it exclusively provides anatomic pathology services and laboratory direction. CellNetix also partner with clients to support them and their patients in Juneau and across the Kenai Peninsula.
