Dr. Kirstine Oh to Speak at WOEMA 64th Annual Conference on COVID Testing 9/25
CellNetix Hematopathologist, Dr. Kirstine Oh, will present “COVID Testing: A Rational Approach” at the Western Occupational and Environmental Medical Association’s Virtual 64th Annual Conference on September 25 from 12-1:30 pm, with a Live Q&A session from 2-2:30 pm. She will focus on different methods of testing for SARS-CoV-2 and discuss how to think about the clinical and analytic sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values of results within the context of the natural history of the disease.
Dr. Oh is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. She is also the Medical Director of the lab at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, as well as the Swedish Edmonds Cancer Center. Dr. Oh attended medical school at the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN. She completed her Hematopathology Fellowship, as well as her Anatomical and Clinical Pathology Residency, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
