Dr. Sandra White Recognized by CHI Franciscan for Outstanding Patient-Centered Care
GEMMSE Award Recipient - Harrison Medical Center
Congratulations to Dr. Sandra White, who received CHI Franciscan’s GEMMSE award for “going the extra mile for medical staff excellence,” and for her direct support of outstanding patient-centered care. She was recognized for stepping forward when called upon to assist with a critically ill patient even though she was not on-call or directly responsible for this patient’s care. Her efforts were recognized for “greatly contributing to the outstanding medical care and patient’s experience at Harrison Medical Center,” as well as demonstrating CHI’s core values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence.
Dr. White is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. She is the Director of Anatomic Pathology at Harrison Medical Center and Chair of the Blood Utilization Committee at Harrison Medical Center. She is a Delegate representing Washington state to the College of American Pathologists.
