Elizabeth L. Kehr, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Kehr is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has expertise in Gynecologic Pathology and Perinatal Pathology. Additionally, she has subspecialty expertise in Genitourinary Pathology and Surgical Pathology. She has been with CellNetix since 2016, working in both our Olympia and Tacoma locations prior to joining our Seattle team.

Dr. Kehr attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She initially completed an Internal Medicine residency, including a chief residency year, at Oregon Health and Science University. She is boarded in Internal Medicine and worked as a Hospitalist for two years, but soon found her passion to be the art and science of the diagnostic process. She transitioned to a career in pathology by completing an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency and a Surgical Pathology fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University. She subsequently completed three subspecialty fellowships at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, including Gynecologic and Perinatal Pathology, Genitourinary Pathology, and General Surgical Pathology. Her General Surgical Pathology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital included rotations in Soft Tissue Pathology, a subspecialty of additional interest for her.

Dr. Kehr is also a dedicated educator and has authored and presented on women’s health topics. She co-authored the chapter “Metastatic Tumors Involving the Ovary” in Diagnostic Gynecologic and Obstetric Pathology and presented the Washington State Society of Pathologists CME webinar, “Interesting Cases in Uterine and Vulvar Pathology.”
