Gynecologic Pathology

CellNetix pathologists support the largest gynecologic oncology service in the Northwest. Our team is led by a fellowship-trained sub-specialist in gynecologic pathology. This support involves diagnosis and staging for patients undergoing surgical treatment of gynecologic cancers. CellNetix provides additional gynecologic pathology services, including diagnosis of cervical biopsies and correlation with previous pathology and Pap smears, HPV DNA testing, pathologic diagnosis for patients with benign diseases of the female genital tract, pathologic examination of placentas, and consultative review (second opinion) for cases referred from other institutions. CellNetix coordinates and leads the gynecologic tumor boards at its various institutions, and supports high risk/hereditary cancer services.
