Dermatopathology

CellNetix has had an active dermatopathology service for more than four decades, and has built a dermatopahology center of excellence to provide truly superior service to patients and clients. Three board certified dermatopathologists, internal consultative opportunities, and an onsite laboratory assure health care practitioners and patients that their tissues will receive prompt and thorough professional attention. Regularly scheduled regional conferences with dermatologists provide opportunities for continuing education and case reviews.

Dermatopathology services are available for routine skin biopsies as well as for difficult cases requiring consultation. Comprehensive dermatopathologic services provided by CellNetix include routine histology and immunofluorescence microscopy. A variety of special histochemical and immunohistochemical staining procedures are available if indicated. Dermatopathology cases will be read by a dermatopathologist according to our centers of excellence model for anatomic pathology. Our turnaround time is rapid, with greater than 90% of cases reported in 48 hours. Our dermatopathologists are available by phone to discuss problematic cases.
