Breast Pathology

CellNetix has three pathologists with specific interest and expertise in breast pathology who review and present the breast pathology at hundreds of multidisciplinary breast cancer conferences each year.

CellNetix pathologists diagnose and stage more breast cancer than any other pathology group in the Northwest. We currently diagnose and evaluate more than 1,200 new cases of breast cancer per year, more than any other pathology group in the state. CellNetix's quality program mandates that all new breast cancers are reviewed by a second pathologist for quality assurance. Breast excision specimens are thoroughly evaluated in a standardized protocol with detailed reporting exceeding the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer-approved College of American Pathologists (CAP) guidelines. In addition, our breast pathologists actively participate in ongoing breast research projects with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
