Commentary/Medical Interests:
Dr. Whitten joined the Olympia pathology group in 1988. He is currently the medical director for the clinical laboratory of Providence St. Peter Hospital and is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington, Department of Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Whitten produces sculpture, wall constructions, and mixed media paintings. He has also been actively engaged in malaria research in Malawi, Africa since 1994. |
