CellNetix has just completed the deployment of a sophisticated array of technology infrastructure and information systems applications to integrate, automate, and standardize operations, fusing state-of-the-art technology with pathology excellence.  CellNetix’s integrated Laboratory Information System (LIS) enables our Doctors Without Walls capability, in which all pathologists, in particular our sub-specialists, are available to all areas of CellNetix at any point in time.  Thus, we are able to offer subspecialty expertise on a patient case even if the sub-specialist is located at a different hospital than the patient.

In addition, the enhanced LIS enables bar coding and other stringent process management systems, which CellNetix employees to drive quality and reliability.  Our use of document scanning and integration provides a paperless work flow that ensures that all documents related to a case are integrated into the electronic case and are always available to personnel processing the specimen.  The LIS also enables client requested features such as color reports, photos included in the reports, secure web access to client reports and secure web ordering, for those clients who want these features.

CellNetix has the ability to bond electronically with clients via an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) interface or other electronic interface, to provide results directly into a hospital’s or clinic’s own EMR.  In addition, for clients who do not have EMR capability, CellNetix can provide a wide variety of report delivery options to meet your needs, from direct web access to courier delivery to remote printing and more.

In the lab, we have deployed state-of-the-art instrumentation such as rapid tissue processors (where appropriate), the latest generation of automated stainers and coverslippers, instrument interfaces and pervasive use of bar codes to ensure detailed specimen tracking and consistently high quality processing.  The workspace incorporates LEAN space design principles and many workplace safety enhancements.

CellNetix offers both Cytyc ThinPrep and TriPath SurePath processing of PAPs, including both companies’ image guided systems.  We also have state-of-the-art FDA approved HPV testing instrumentation.
