JOB DUTIES

Responsibilities will include preparing controls slides, preparing tissue samples slides from surgical, dermatological and cytological submitted paraffin embedded specimens, running antigen-antibody protocols on Ventana Beckmark-XT and LT, titration and validation of antibodies for optimum dilution preparing and troubleshooting new and existing protocols, understanding and applying antigen retrieval techniques and daily preparation of reagents and solutions. Additional responsibilities will include and not be limited to daily, monthly, and quarterly QC reports.

Laboratory maintenance duties will include instrument calibrations, routine preventative maintenance, and general laboratory maintenance on Ventana Bechmark XT and LT.

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and/or HT/HTL license. 4 years experience in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), paraffin sectioning, and excellent routine histology skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner are essential.
